Ashland Community Kitchen
Mission Statement: “Where no one goes hungry”
The mission of Ashland Community Kitchen is to provide any hungry person with a hot, nutritious meal, and to treat each person with dignity and respect. The kitchen, is located inside of The Neighborhood facilities in downtown Ashland, serves over 150 meals each day — and that number continues to grow.
The Ashland Community Kitchen, founded in 1983, still focuses on its core mission to make sure, that no one goes hungry in the community. Everyone seeking a meal, is provided one. CAReS (Community Assistance and Referral Services) screens applicants for further services that may be offered as part of the Neighborhood facility. You can visit CAReS website here.
